Q
Fever is an acute infectious disease caused by coaxiella burnettii
rickettsia. The symptoms of the disease resemble those of pneumonia.
The incubation of this disease normally takes one to three
weeks. Sheep, cattle
and goats are the reservoirs for human infection. The disease from
sheep, cattle and goats are spread to humans through contaminated
milk, animal feces and urine. The
dust also can be contaminated by the feces and urine of these
animals and when inhaled can cause Q fever in humans.
When the milk is not properly pasteurized, it can help to
pass infection from the animal to the human.
This disease is a worldwide disease.
Treatment
The
patients of Q Fever would be treated with tetracycline.
To prevent this disease among humans one has to prevent the
infection in the livestock or to have reduction of contact with the
infected animals and the dust contaminated by them.
And there should be very good pasteurization of the milk. This disease is an
occupational risk for animal handlers, workers, vets, and lab
persons who deal with this type of rickettsia.

The quacks are also known as charlatans.
The quacks are intelligent persons who try to take advantage
of the gullibility, desperation, superstition, and the novice of the

drowning man catcheth even a straw. They are so desperate to
get some sort of cure that they will go to the quacks for cure.
Many
quacks claim to have cure for weight loss, AIDS, cancers and
arthritis and for many other diseases. They aver to have cure for
baldness and all types of sexual dysfunctions. One can see their
advertisements in some newspapers, magazines and on their websites.
The naive patients of the quacks are wasting money, worsening their
health conditions and sometimes losing their lives.

People are to be educated regarding the diseases and their
treatment. The patients are to check out about suspicious medical
doctors and healers and their qualifications and licenses. Many
quacks sell a lot of tonics and potions.
Most of the potions and tonics are alcohol based, and they
are to check out with the medical doctors to see whether these
potions and tonics are beneficial or not.
Patients, who suffer from terminal diseases, would try
anything under the sun to be cured.
When they visit quacks, they are wasting their time, money
and energy and sometimes it might be detrimental and lethal to their
health. The government
should take stern action on the quacks so they would not be free to
fool the people. Nevertheless,
the ultimate choice is in the hands of the individuals and patients
and they would be wise by choosing not to visit a quack.

Quarrel
is a dispute, isnt it? Quarrel
can be a verbal or physical conflict between two people who dont
agree over something. In almost every walk of life, one will see or
will be involved in some kind of quarrel.
Sometimes verbal conflict will lead to a physical fight.
It can draw bad blood between two individuals or groups.
Occasionally, it will lead to injury or murder of a person or
persons.

if somebody else always loves to pick up quarrel?
Just ignore that person if you can. It is invariably good to
prevent a quarrel but once it has started, try to stop it as early

from a verbal fight it could be a physical fight.
And sometimes a verbal or physical quarrel may lead to
murder. If you find that somebody is using a knife or gun and trying
to hurt the other person do not go in between because you might be
stabbed or shot.
Suppose
you see two persons fighting, first assess the situation to know if
you can separate the fight without being harmed. If you can really
separate the fight, go and drive sense to them and mediate between
the two and see that there is some compromise between the two.
But if you see that you cant really separate the two who are
fighting then call the cops. If
you think that your life would be in danger by calling the cops, you
should call emergency number without giving your name, phone number,
and address.

A
queue is a waiting line. It
is to line up and wait for your turn whether to pay or receive
something. You find queues
everywhere, in shopping malls, banks, cafeterias, airports, post
offices and while purchasing tickets at railway stations.
If the queue is very long it can pose some problems.
If the line is very long you will be wasting time and energy
and it can tire you out. It
can cause stress, strain and frustration.
When someone is trying to jump queues it could lead to
quarrels and fights. For old people and some persons who are sick,
it is very arduous for them to stand in queue.

The
solutions are based on planning and organizing.
Standing in the queue in a bank is a big problem for
customers and ironically, the bank exists for the sake of the
customers. Therefore, the bank officials must do everything to
please the customers and see that the customers are not in
discomfort and distress. The
bank workers should give token numbers to all the customers as they
come in for service and there should be sitting facilities for the
customers. Each teller
and each compartment should have electronic lights to beep and
display the token numbers. When
the token number appears, the person who holds that token number
should go and do his/her business.
The customers who have the tokens are to be advised that they
should pay attention and not to wander far off because if their
numbers are called and they are not there, then they will forfeit
their chance and they have to take a new token number.
If
there are no token number system in work places, train stations or
bus stations or other public places then a queue should be in the
form of chairs and these should be stationary and not moveable.
People can sit on the chairs and relax and listen to their walkmans
or read a book or novel or just take rest while waiting.
So if there are chairs to sit and wait, it is comfortable for
the customers and the clients. What if there is want of
space or no finance to buy chairs, or there are no electronic lights
that beep and display token numbers.
In that case, there should be a separate queue for senior
citizens and the sickly persons. However, a person can be normal and
can act sick and stand in the line for the sickly persons. Hence,
persons who are sickly should get a doctors certificate stating that
they are sick and cannot stand for long time.
When there are no places for sitting and no tokens in banks
they must open more counters, e.g., more tellers in the bank so that
the queue would be smaller because there will be less people
standing in the queue for each teller.
For
the ones who have no choice but to stand in a queue, my advice to
them is to find out when is the best time when the queue is
shortest. Usually
queues become long during lunchtime. The queues tend to be long just
before the weekend and just after the weekend.
Early morning hours, the queue may be short. Sometimes, it is
best to eat and then stand in the queue because you will be less
frustrated. You can
take a makeshift chair so that you can sit.
If you are not able to stand, ask another person to stand for
you and you can give that person some tips.

Plans
Quixotic
plans are those that are idealistic and very unrealistic to
implement. This word comes from the hero of Cervantes romantic novel
Don Quixotic. The
quixotic plans are so unreal like how Don Quixote tried to do lofty
romantic and chivalrous actions that were very unpractical.
There are many individuals who have grandiose plans for which
there is no money or they are not practical.
Some individuals plan to marry celebrities, plan to possess
great things, plan to buy the most expensive cars and plan to do
many great feats, which may not be feasible and possible.
This will give rise to more problems like unhappiness,
frustration and living in a world of fantasy.
Other people who follow quixotic plans also suffer
financially and lose time and energy.

Always
plan with prayers to God. Pray
to find out if it is Gods will for a plan to be implemented. There are many people who
plan without praying to God. They might have a big building
construction plan and they will decide to go ahead without asking
God, and when they dont have enough money for it, they will pray for
money. How can one plan
something and then ask God to approve it and give the money? First, find out
from God if it is His will to take up a project, and once God
reveals His will and approves then take up that project. Next, you
can pray for the funds. But if a person has already decided and
planned and then prays to God for money, it is absurdity.
The
plans, which you have from day to day, must be practical. Do not plan impractical
things. I am not
advising you not to have dreams in life, rather, those dreams in
life must be in accordance with Gods will.
Suppose you are always failing in science subjects, then do
not plan to be a medical doctor.
If history and political science are not your forte do not
plan on becoming a lawyer. Your
plans should be realistic. All
persons who cannot see well should not plan on being professional
drivers. There are some
CEOs and managers who try to plan something, which is quixotic. They
do not take other peoples advice, and they do everything on their
own. They think that
everybodys ideas are foolish and their own plans are great. Then
there are some workers, who know the plans of the CEO are
impractical but just to get favor from him, will flatter him by
saying that it is an excellent plan.
Dont flatter such an individual, just to get some favor
because it can hurt the whole company and it can go into financial
loss. Everybody without exception must follow what is instructed in
Proverbs 3:6, which declares, In
all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path. Therefore, plan in
accordance with the will of God.
Do your best by following His will and He shall fulfill the
rest.

is an emanation of energy in the form of electromagnetic rays.
The electromagnetic rays include gamma rays, x-rays and ultra
violet rays. Nuclear
fission produces great energy and also ionizing radiation, which is
in the form of radioactive particles. These radioactive particles if
exposed too much to the body is detrimental to health.
If too much exposure to radiation takes place, there could be
radiation sickness. The
symptoms of this radiation sickness could be vomiting, anorexia,
diarrhea, weight loss, immune deficiency and fever.
Too much exposure to radiation will cause cancers.
The nuclear waste disposal from the nuclear reactors can also
cause environmental problems and health problems too.
Nuclear problems such as the nuclear accident that took place
on April 26, 1986 in Chernobyl caused lots of problems to ecosystems
and to human life. Because
of this terrible accident some persons have died and later other
people have suffered from various diseases and cancers, and also it
has destroyed the ecosystem like plants and animals. Nuclear bombs
can destroy life from the face of the earth.

Undergo
x-ray diagnostic test only when it is a must. Abdominal x-rays, chest
x-rays and mammograms are not supposed to be conducted very often on
a patient. Pregnant women should not be exposed to x-rays, and it is
better for them to undergo ultrasonography.
The technicians working with x-rays must, from time to time,
monitor how much they have been exposed to x-rays. They must always
wear a shield and be behind protective doors and walls.
If anyone else is assisting another patient in the x-ray
room, he/she must wear a protective gown.
Men should see that their testicles must not be exposed to
x-rays because they can become sterile.
People
must try to avoid too much exposure to ultraviolet light. It is good for them to
wear sunglasses, which help them to avoid ultraviolet light. The
sunglasses come in many different types, so try to look for the
sunglasses, which are good for driving or for beaches. Do not live
in areas that are close to nuclear reactors.
The concerned governments should make every effort to ensure
that nuclear waste is disposed of properly. Nuclear power nations
should make sure that the nuclear accidents do not happen. All
nuclear powers should not even dream to engage in nuclear warfare.
People had seen the effects of nuclear warfare when America
bombed two Japanese cities in August 1945, therefore, nuclear
nations should not engage in nuclear warfare.

They are to be inculcated that they should only have sex
within the marriage and that it must be with the wifes consent.
The government must take potent measures to punish the
rapists. We know in the
nations where rapists have been given punishment like beheading,
rape has almost become extinct there.
The punishment of death must be awarded to rapists and it
must be swift as this would act as a deterrent for all the rapists
and all the psychotic persons.
Persons who are mentally deranged must be taken to seek help
from a psychiatrist, or be institutionalized in a mental hospital,
so that they will not go out and rape innocent females.
When
people witness a rape or hear from a rape victim, they must
immediately contact the police. A rape victim should not keep it a
secret but must disclose it to the authorities and they are to keep
the identity of the rape victim a secret as far as possible and the
guilty ones must be caught and punished.
If most of the rape victims keep quiet, then rapists will
become braver and commit more rapes. Some smut
supporters argue that smut can prevent rape. However, the
real situation is that smut is like a fantasy and most
rapists want to put their sexual fantasy into reality and they can
do it by raping. Smut is like a piece of bone thrown a little
away from a dog that is tied. The dog that is tied can see the bone
but cant chew it so he will try to break the chain to grab and chew
the bone. Hence, smut is a catalyst to
some
men to commit rapes because smut is like seeing the bone and
committing a rape is like chewing the bone. Finally, the bottom line
is all people must be taught to fear God, respect a woman's body, and
sex ought to be consensual and within marriage.

Is it true?
Some
Christians believe that there will be the carrying away of the
saints to heaven prior to the tribulation and this is be called the
rapture. The ones who
believe in this doctrine say that the rapture will be carried out in

There are a few films and books to propagate this doctrine of
rapture. The films portray how people disappear and others are left
behind wondering what happened to their loved ones or friends. The

of these movies, the rapture doctrine has become quite popular.
We
are to be aware what people speculate and say but we must follow
what the Holy Bible states clearly. The believers of the rapture
doctrine inform that just before the tribulation many Christians or
the righteous would be raptured to escape tribulation and during the
tribulation many Jews will be converted into Christianity, and at
the end of the tribulation, the second coming of Christ will take
place. Has the rapture taken place or will it take place? Is the
doctrine of rapture true? Is rapture a fact or myth?
Answer
My advice is as you read
this answer, please keep praying so that the Holy Spirit can direct
you to whether rapture is true or false. Let us see what the Bible
clearly states.
1.
The righteous Christians must suffer tribulation and not escape
it. Revelation 12:17 states And
the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the
remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have
the testimony of Jesus Christ. How
can the dragon make war with the true Christians when they are taken
away before the tribulation? There
would be war between the dragon and the Christians. They will also
suffer as mentioned in verses 16 and 17 of Revelation 13 chapter,
where they state, And causeth
all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive
a mark in their hand, or in their foreheads. And that no man might
buy or sell save he that have the mark, or the name of the beast or
the number of his name. The
righteous who don't have the mark will not able to buy and
sell. If there is rapture,
where is the question of buying and selling?
But they are here to suffer, but if they are carried away to
heaven, they won't suffer.
Mathew
24:21-22, asserts, For then
shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of
the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved; but for the elects sake, those days shall be
shortened. Here,
it informs that there shall be great tribulation and that the
tribulation shall be shortened or else no flesh shall be saved.
It does not state the elect will be carried away before the
tribulation. It doesn't say that
true Christians will not suffer persecution and they will be carried
away in rapture, but it simply says the days of tribulation will be
shortened. Why should
the days be shortened if the Christians are carried away? What is
the use of tribulation if the Christians are not tested? The Christians must be
tested, and they should be tested like how gold is tried in fire.
2.
The elect are not Jews but all who believe in Lord Jesus. The
believers of the rapture argue that the elect are the Jews and the
Jews have to suffer the persecution. But what does the Bible talk
about who are the elect? Romans
10:12 & 13 state, For
there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, for the same
Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him so whomsoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So the
elect are all who call upon the name of the Lord.
The Jews are not the elect but anyone who calls on the name
of the Lord. And the Jews are not going to suffer but every true
Christian will suffer tribulation and there is no rapture.
3.
Some righteous Christians will die during the tribulation. In
Revelation 7:14 it declares, These are they which came out of
great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white
in the blood of the Lamb. It
clearly states here that the Christians would have suffered and
died. The believers of
rapture doctrine argue that these people who have suffered and died
are not Christians but Jews who were converted to Christianity.
But Revelation 7:9 says, After
this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could
number, of all nations, all kindred, and people, and tongues, stood
before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes,
and palms in their hands. This
explicitly shows that the people who suffer and die through
tribulation are not Jews but followers of Christ from all nations,
all kindred, all peoples and all tongues. This exposes the
hollowness of the rapture doctrine.
In
Revelation 13:15, it informs, And
he hath power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the
image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would
not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The ones who refuse to
worship the image of the beast should be killed, so there are
Christians who will be killed.
Some
of the rapture believers argue that events recorded in Revelation 4
to 19 chapters all happen in heaven and not on earth. This argument
holds no water. The whole book of Revelation was addressed to the
seven churches in Asia. The message pertains to all the people on
earth and not to the ones living in heaven.
4.
Other persecuted righteous will be protected but not be carried
away from this world. Lord Jesus prayed in John 17:15, I
pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world but that
Thou shouldest keep them from evil.
The
righteous people will not be taken out of the world but some of them
would be protected. When you look at Exodus 9:26 and Exodus 10:23 it
shows how in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were living,
the plagues were not present whereas in the other parts of Egypt the
plagues were present among the Egyptians. The Israelites were not
taken away from Egypt during the tribulation of plagues but were
protected by God. In the last tribulation, true Christians will be
not taken away or raptured but they will be in the world and God
will protect some of them.
5.
Greek word Parousia does not mean rapture but coming. The
believers of the rapture say that Paul used the Greek word parousia
in 1st Thessalonians 4:15, which means rapture. But the
same word Paul used in 1st Thessalonians 3:13 and 2nd
Thessalonians 2:8 where it does not denote any secret rapture, but
it says before the coming of Christ there will be the coming of the
anti-Christ. Parousia means coming.
6.
There will be sound of trumpet and shout and no secrecy during
the Lord's coming. In fact, 1st Thessalonians 4:
15-17 show that there is no rapture, because they mention, The
Lord will descend from heaven with a shout
Shout is something where there it produces sound. Next,
therell be a voice of an Archangel, and sound of trumpet. All these
show that, there is not going to be any secret rapture.
7.
The second coming of Lord Jesus is one single event and cannot be
divided into several events. The rapture doctrine believers
divide the second coming of Christ into several events, i.e., where
in one event saints will be carried away before tribulation and in
another event during tribulation Jews will be converted and will be
persecuted, then in still another event where at the end of
tribulation, Christ will come. Through out the Bible, the second
coming of Lord Jesus is mentioned as one single event.
8.
Belief in rapture can tell the year of Lord's coming whereas the
Bible tells no man knows the time of the Lord's coming. The
rapture believers mention that seven years after the secret rapture,
Lord Jesus will come. How can one say in a particular year, Lord
Jesus will come when the Bible states in Mathew 24:36, But
of the day or the hour knoweth no man nor angels of heaven but My
father only. It
clearly shows that you cannot know the time or the year of His
coming. Nowhere in the
Bible states there will be seven years after the tribulation before
Lord Jesus comes. Hal Lindsey, in his book, 'The Late Great Planet
Earth,' had predicted in 1970 that the coming of the rapture and the
tribulation would take within forty years or so of 1948 because in
1948 the state of Israel was created. And within the next forty
years the coming of Christ shall take place.
And he used the forty years according to the Biblical
duration of a generation based upon the parable of the fig tree.
When you add forty years from 1948 it comes to 1988 and seven
years before that secret rapture will take place and the tribulation
will begin. So rapture should have taken place in 1981 or 1982 and
by 1988 & 1989 Lord Jesus should have come. However, all those
predictions have gone haywire because even till now Lord Jesus has
not come and there has been no rapture whatsoever.
9.
Stories of disappearances of thousands of people are fabricated.
There are many created stories here and there about thousands who
have disappeared but there is absolutely no proof to show that they
have disappeared into thin air.
May be disappearance of some persons is due to migration,
elopement, suicide or murder. But there is no way, a secret rapture
can occur. Some rapture believers may commit suicide after a failed
predicted rapture event. My advice to rapture believers is please do
not commit suicide after a failed predicted rapture event but
discard the myth of rapture, reject false prophets like Harold
Camping; follow not crazy Bible teachers, rather love Lord Christ
with all your heart and believe in His instruction mentioned in
Mathew 24:36.
10.
Every eye shall see the Lord when He comes. Revelation 1:7
expresses, Behold He cometh
with clouds and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced
Him; and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even
so amen. As you can see when Lord
Jesus comes every eye shall see Him. This is no secret rapture as
everybody is going to see the event.
The rapture doctrine believers quote Matthew 24:40 which
states, Then shall two be in
the field, the one shall be taken and the other left. Here,
there is no rapture because others who are not saved are seeing the
event of the saved going to heaven during the Lord's coming. It is
no secret. In conclusion, rapture is not true but a myth and
fiction.

is a period when someone who has been working would be rested and

There are other benefits like gratuity.
However, the benefits of retirement differ from company to
company, and also the age for retirement differs from institution to
institution, and from country to country.
Retirement time is a time when persons will have a lot of
difficulty. They will be receiving
pension, which is very meager. Some
of the retired people do not have a house to live, and the future will
be bleak for them. Many retirees could be depressed because they would
not be occupied. And sometimes their children are not married, or have
not completed their education so the retired persons would have a lot
of unfinished tasks. Sometimes
the retired persons will not be covered with all the benefits in some
companies. Usually this
is a time where there is a lot of stress and strain, financial and
health problems.

Many
years before retirement one has to plan to take care of retirement
problems. The planning
should answer many questions. Would
all of my children finish their education? Would I have a house to
live in? Would I have money to take care of my medical bills?
Where would I live? Would the climate be good for my health?
Do
not work in companies where there are no retirement benefits and a
pension. Try not to work
on contract basis, because contracts do not cover pension and other
retirement benefits. The senior citizens in Canada are covered well by
health insurance policies and social security measures.
A
person should always save some money towards buying a house. Children, who have been
done with their education and are employed, ought to help and save
some money to buy a house for their parents and the parents should
always see that before they retire, children are well settled.
It would be good if the children get married before retirement,
of course, they cannot force the children to get married, because it
is their decision when to get married.
The retirees need to a find a good house where there are no
electricity and water problems. They are to live in a safe
neighborhood where there is no crime and violence, since most retired
people are vulnerable for thefts and murders. The retired people
should buy a house in an area where the climatic conditions are good
for their health. Retirees
must settle in locations close to hospitals in case of emergency.
Individuals
are to be psychologically prepared for retirement, because retirement
can bring a lot of depression and frustrations.
Most retirees can do other jobs as well; if they are teachers
they can work part time in schools or colleges; if they are doctors
they can still open their private clinics if the government permits;
whatever their profession, if their health conditions permit they can
work part time and be occupied. Some retired persons can write books
or articles. The retirees must join some social clubs and have some
kind of entertainment there. Some of them should join
gyms and health clubs to keep themselves fit.
They can go jogging and do some exercise but the exercise must
not be vigorous. From time to time they can go visit their children or
grand children or vice versa.
To
keep themselves happy, retirees can go out for some excursions, or
visit different nations if health and money are no problem. When
visiting other nations, they are to be careful because most old people
are vulnerable to be victims of crime and violence.
Retired people, whether male or female, should have regular
health checkups. Women should have check
ups for breast, uterus and menopausal problems and men for prostate
and other health problems. They
should write their will and keep it ready.
The will should be addressed to anyone they love.

law union, transmission of sexual diseases like herpes and AIDS.
The dating problems could also lead to violence or distrust.
Spiritual

There
can be casual dating and steady dating that could really lead to
marriage. There is also
dating that could lead to an engagement, but later on that engagement
can be broken. When you want to select your date dont be in a hurry.
Telling 'I Love You' and not manifesting love in deeds will not
make you an authentic lover anymore than speaking kind words to a
beggar will make you a philanthropist. My advice to you is when you
are looking for dates, pray to God to see who could be your steady
date. Casual dating can
later lead to promiscuous behaviour.
If you do not ask God's will, then you will end up with the
wrong date and that date may lead you into sexual intercourse, and who
knows, you might be gifted with genital herpes or AIDS virus. After
praying to God, I am sure God will show you a good one for you.
I
am recommending some guidelines for successful dating that would lead
to marriage.
1.
Whenever you date together, pray together so that you will not
be tempted to sin.
2.
Be honest to each other, and don't have sex before marriage.
3.
Try to compromise if you have any short falls
4.
Both should be willing to bear expenses.
If you go to a restaurant or some descent entertainment place,
you should be ready to spend some money.
5.
When you date, don't go to secluded places and provocative
entertainment centers as they can lead to sex.
Don't drink alcohol and take drugs.
6.
Don't be jealous and try not to be over possessive. Love
contains a few ounces of possessiveness but not liters of it.
7.
Don't say up late in the night. This could also lead to sexual
intercourse. And try not to break up the relationship.
8.
If at all there is a breakup, don't go and gossip and tell bad
about your previous date to others or to the next date.
It is not good to wash dirty linen in public or to pull
skeletons out of the closet. Let
sleeping dogs lie.

One advice is to always have a condom ready, just in case you
want to have sex, and it could protect you from sexually transmitted
diseases. If you carry a

want to have sex. If you
have unprotected sex, it is inevitable that you are going to face
grave problems.

is an act where a person behaves unfaithfully with opposite sex, or
the person will not be true to a friendship.
Flirting can lead to many problems and all the more when a
person keeps it a secret from the other sexual partner.
This could lead to sense of distrust and disloyalty.
And when the flirting is known it will lead to betrayal,
bitterness, hatred and sadness of the other partner. It could also
lead to sexually transmitted diseases. Flirting is sin.

good relationship in love and marriage. It is better for them to stick
with one lover than playing games with more than one lover. The person who flirts
must ask himself, Suppose my lover did it to me, how would I feel?

flirting, he will not be happy. So
it is not good to flirt. Flirting
in terms of sexual activities, could lead to sexually transmitted
diseases such as syphilis and AIDS.
Men are to be taught by their mothers and fathers not to flirt,
and the fathers should be an example by not flirting.
Mothers should be examples to their daughters by not flirting
themselves.

For some persons, finding a girlfriend or boyfriend is a major
problem. Occasionally, a
male may love a female, but that female does not reciprocate. This is
called one-way love traffic. When one likes or loves
someone, he/she may wonder how to approach the person, and may have
the fear that person will reject him/her.
If rejection takes place, he/she may be sad.

Many online dating websites lead to only short sexual
relationships and they dont long.
When you like somebody, first of all pray to God to find out if
it is the will of God for that person to be your boyfriend or
girlfriend. If God is in approval, the next plan is to proceed.
If you are afraid to go and approach the girl and say, I would
like to be your girlfriend, its expedient to use a close friend who
will not betray you later, to mediate for you.
The mediating person should tactfully ask the intended target,
What if my friend loves you, would you respond positively? If the
person says, Yes, it is fine. But if the person says No, do not worry
about it because that person is not the only one in the world.
Romance is like a field of roses.
If one rose rejects you then you can always pick up another
rose that will accept you. Generally, the rule is
guys propose for friendship but some daring girls can be an exception
to this rule. If you are
not so sure the person loves you, then dont directly approach the
person but you can use indirect means.
Tell
you what? There are many individuals who find a girlfriend or
boyfriend and later they pray to God to approve the relationship.
How can God approve a relationship when in the first place you
did not consult Him? We must always pray to God for His guidance.
Dont follow your infatuation. You can be infatuated with one
girl today and then after a few weeks you might be infatuated by
another. Rather you must go by sound principles.
When
trying to find someone, dont be in a hurry. Some individuals are so
scared; they are in a hurry because they are afraid that somebody else
will grab that person. But
if you choose a girlfriend or boyfriend in a hurry you may repent in
leisure later. If somebody grabs that person away, then maybe it is a
sign that the person is not for you.

to that problem in this book. If you are sad because of pessimism,

To do away with sadness you have to do away with the cause or

you got a failing grade and see that you dont repeat the same mistake.
Maybe you did not do your assignment on time; you did not study well;
you were more interested in extra-curricular activities.
So next time study well, do assignments on time and get a good
grade and be happy. If
somebody has died, and that made you sad, you cannot remove the cause,
as you cannot bring that person back to life.
But you can be happy that when Lord Jesus comes, you would see
that person again if that person died in the Lord, if not, God shall
wipe your tears away.

first Peter 3:14 says, But and

because we are counted worthy to suffer for God.
Proverbs
17:22 states, A merry heart
doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Let
us not be sad for trivial matters because it will only be detrimental
to our health. It will
increase blood pressure, and could lead to heart problems so let us be
happy in Lord Jesus. The
only way to throw out sadness from the heart is through indwelling of
the Holy Spirit. Pray for
the Holy Spirit because only He can make you happy.
Human beings can come and tell some comfortable words and then
go away but it is the Holy Spirit, which really comforts since He is
the greatest Comforter in the world.

Sarcasm
is an ironic utterance designed to hurt someone else.
It is designed to give a negative effect on a particular
individual or group of people. The
persons who use sarcastic language may think they are brilliant.
The person at whose expense the statement has been made is
actually the one who has to bear it.
So it is a problem. This could further aggravate the situation
by causing enmity or bad blood between individuals or groups.

The
person who is using sarcasm to hurt somebodys feeling must realize
that he is being nasty. But
suppose that person does not realize, he will go on making sarcastic
statements and must be thinking there is no end to himself. Hence, that person ought
to be shown his place. When

may learn a lesson. Sometimes, it can only
aggravate the situation. Therefore,
it is wise for the boss of the sarcastic person to correct him.
But if the boss himself is sarcastic, then someone else who is
higher than him should advise him.
But if there is no one to advise him, then you only can pray
for him or you can just ignore his statements and go on and hope that
God shows him his place.

Schizophrenia
is a term used for a large group of mental disorders.
It is a common series of mental disorders where there is a loss
of contact with reality. The
patients have delusions or false beliefs, hallucinations, bizarre
behavior and also a lessened degree of motivation. The causes of
schizophrenia are highly complex, but schizophrenia could be caused
both by genetic and environmental reasons and also by neurological
problems.
Management
When
persons suffer from delusions or hallucinations and act bizarre, they
should be taken to the hospital.
Once the psychiatrists diagnose them to be schizophrenic, they
would hospitalize them. The patients would be given medical,
psychological, and behavioral treatments.
They usually would be administered with anti-psychotic drugs.
This disorder cannot be completely cured but can be controlled. The
significant others must show a lot of care and concern for these
patients.

Fee Problems
When
I use the word school I mean all academic institutions at various
levels. Many students have school fee problems especially, when they
dont have parents supporting their studies.
Many students have to work and study.
There are many students looking for sponsorship and they might
be distressed or stressed or may even discontinue their studies in the
colleges and universities if their financial problems escalate.
In nations like Canada and the United States, education in
public schools is free but at the college level and university level
one needs to pay fees, which could be expensive.

In order to receive a student loan, one must have good grades.
You must have good recommendation from teachers and you must
have sound guarantors also. When

available in many colleges and universities. Some students are lucky
to get sponsors. The
students who have financial problems should pray to Lord Jesus and be
very close to Him. He
will certainly help. I am not saying only the students who are
experiencing this problem should pray to Lord Jesus, for even the
students who have a lot of money should pray to Him.

Problems
It
is not effortless for people to sell things especially when they are
in a hurry to leave a place. Managers
of stores, whether they are textile stores or whether they are
electronic stores, sometimes have problem to sell and market old
models. People who are
going to move out want to sell their things like used cars.
There are problems how to sell them.
Selling them for the right price is a problem.
Selling them for too much is cheating others. Selling them for too
little will result in loss. Selling
shares in stocks and shares market can be difficult sometimes.

Obviously,
persons who are selling their things are to actually plan out well in
advance, how to sell. If
you are in a hurry you will probably not get good customers and have
to sell the things at a dead cheap price, just to get rid of the
things. When you are not
able to sell at the price that you desire, it is better to keep and
use them, if not, might as well sell them for whatever prices you can
get. Try to contact
friends you know who can buy, also try to advertise in newspapers and
use flyers, especially if you want to sell a house or a car.
When you want to sell your car, get it evaluated and tell car
mechanics and other friends to spread the word.
Storeowners
and managers have problems trying to sell goods, which are becoming
old, especially when new designs of the same products are available.
So they put on sale or increase the prices and give more
discount. Indispensably, the best method to sell and for marketing
goods is to advertise. When you advertise, people can see what you
have to offer, especially if you use tempting or luring slogans where
they can easily get attracted. You
can get rid of the things by selling them on installments or on
credit, provided the person who is paying has a steady job or is a
faithful person who can repay the full cost eventually.
Little
personal things (inexpensive ones) instead of being sold on sale can
be actually given as gifts. A person might remember the presenter for
the gifts that were given. For selling shares you have to seek the
help of honest experienced brokers and also keep ahead with latest
information by reading concerned journals.

Exhibition
Exhibitionism
is the display of ones genitals to an involuntary observer.
An exhibitionist exhibits his genitals to someone else to
achieve sexual excitement. The
exhibitionists are usually males and they exhibit to female children
and female adults. They
keep repeating this type of behavior even after they have been
arrested before. A few
females are exhibitionists too. Some
females are exhibitionists in the entertainment sectors.
If any female exhibits her cleavage and upper portion of
breasts, she is an exhibitionist too.
Management
The
exhibitionists should be given psychotherapy. The psychologist should
find out why they are doing it and what can be done to stop it.
During psychotherapy, if they are told that there will be
severe punishment meted out, sometimes, out of fear they will try to
avoid it. But
really if serious punishment is given, then some will stop it.
The family members of the victim should help change his
behavior by showing love and trying to adjust with them.
However,
medically, an exhibitionist can be stopped from exhibiting, when
doctor administers medroxy progesterone that suppresses his sexual
desire to exhibit.28 Usually the effect is for three weeks.
But this should be done with the consent of the exhibitionist.

Frigidity
Frigidity
is a lack of normal sexual desire in women. The frigid women have
difficulty in experiencing erotic sensation. These women would like to
avoid sex. The causes for frigidity in women could be bad sexual
experiences, i.e., child molestation or rape, painful intercourse,
disharmony between the sexual partner and herself like the man has
been flirting with another woman or the woman resents him or he
suffers from halitosis. So the woman uses sex as a way of controlling
her husband by not cooperating to have sex. There could be other
causes like fear, guilt, and phobia.

The
solutions depend on the cause. If
her husband is suffering from halitosis, that problem should be
corrected. If the husband
is flirting, then the husband should be advised to stop it.
In case, the woman is having psychological problems such as
anxiety, guilt and phobia, these are to be removed.
The husband should be taught sexual techniques by a marriage
counselor to increase her sexual sensation.

Homosexuality
Homosexuality
is a sexual orientation problem where the person is attracted to the
same sex. Homosexuals are
also called gays. I am
going to discuss lesbianism separately. What causes a man to be
attracted to a man? Some factors are: childhood experiences like being
sodomized, family environmental factors like dominant mother, hormonal
factors like low testosterone level and behavioral factors like cross
dressing. Genetic cause is not involved in homosexuality as gays do
not produce children. Besides, bisexuals do not produce bisexuals.
Sometimes it is stated that when a child has contact with a
bigger person in homosexual contact during childhood, then he would
continue to be involved in homosexual activities.
Some argue that when a family has a more dominant mother than
father, a boy in this household could turn out to be homosexual.
Others state there are some problems with hormone imbalance and
functioning of hypothalamus.
But
let us see what God says regarding the homosexuality problem.
God has created man and woman and He knows why he created man
and woman. God condemns
homosexuality. The Bible calls homosexuality an abomination. In
Leviticus 20:13 it states, If a man also
lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have
committed an abomination... Romans 1:27 says And
likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in
their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their own
error which was meet. You can see God condemns homosexuality, and
it is sin and we are to call sin by its right name.

God
invented sex and let us listen to the Inventor. Suppose there were
only homosexuals in the world after God sent Adam and Eve out of the
Garden of Eden, then the whole human race would become extinct that
point in time itself. God created man and woman to produce children
and replenish the earth. A man is to leave his parents and join with
his wife and the two is to become one.
The Lord never created a man to have sex with man because they
cannot produce children. Some
are blinded to the fact that homosexuality is wrong and a sin.
Homosexuality is an abomination no matter what the psychiatrists or
others say. Homosexuals can choose to do what ever they want because
God gave them the choice. Nobody should jeer, mock, injure and harm or
kill the gays because of their sexual preference.
We may advise these homosexuals go to god-fearing psychiatrists
for psychotherapy. They
will find out what are the reasons why they have become homosexuals.
If the gays have experienced it in their childhood, they should
be told that what happened was unpleasant but they must be detrained
and become straight. Just
because the mother was dominant and son cross dressed does not mean
that her son could become homosexual for the rest of his life.
Since
it is an abomination, homosexuals can under go metamorphosis by
letting the Holy Spirit control their lives completely. Certainly,
with the help of God it can be done. But the homosexuals must repent
and ask forgiveness from God or else they will lose their eternal
salvation. In order for a change to take place, the homosexuals must
pray to God. The bottom line is the gays must repent and let Holy
Spirit control their lives totally and then they can become
heterosexuals.

Impotence
Impotence
is erectile dysfunction. It
is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection of penis for
sexual intercourse. This
problem can be devastating for men.
The causes of impotence can be physical, psychological and
nutritional factors and also due to some medications. The
psychological causes could be depression, guilt, fear, anxiety and
disharmony between sexual partners. The physical factors are diseases
like multiple sclerosis and nutrition related diseases like
hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Medications like anti-hypertension
drugs, anti-histamines, anti-psychotics and sedatives could bring
about impotence. Spinal
cord injuries, endocrine disturbances like pituitary and thyroid
dysfunctions and alcohol abuse can also cause impotence.
Since this problem is so devastating, there should be treatment
that can really help the affected man to regain his erectile function.
Management
The
affected men are to be treated by medical sex therapists. The
treatment is aimed at removing the cause of impotence.
If it is psychological reason then patient should be given
psychotherapy and remove the anxiety or depression.
In case, the cause is physical problem then it should be
treated. If the causes
are hypertension and diabetes, then these should be managed
accordingly. Drugs that can cause impotence, like anti-hypertensives,
anti-histamines, anti-psychotic drugs, estrogen, and can be avoided
for some time if the doctor advises so.
If it is unsafe to stop using them, then these drugs should not
be stopped. For paraplegic and quadriplegic men there is no cure. The
drugs which overcomes impotence, should be taken under medical
supervision. When the impotence is irreversible penile implants could
be considered. If it is
because of circulatory problem then revascularization surgery can be
performed on patients.

Incest
Incest
is sexual relation between closely related persons.
The incest could be between father and daughter, mother and
son, aunt and nephew, uncle and niece and stepparent and stepchild.
This is a stinking moral problem.
God did not design sex to be performed this way.
Sometimes when pregnancies are caused, it can lead to more
grievous problems, not only in the family but also in the society.

Apparently,
all persons must be taught from childhood what are good relationships
and what are not. Biologically speaking, these sexual relations could
cause congenital malformations and genetic disorders in the children
produced from such relations. The
effects of human inbreeding are negative most of the time.
In some Asian countries, people marry first cousins, and the
culture accepts the first cousin marriage.
In a few instances, uncles would marry nieces.
However, biologically and genetically speaking this is bad and
should not be followed. The
government must make stringent laws to prohibit incest relationship
and anyone who is guilty of incest relationship should be severely
punished. If they are not
punished then more offenders of incest will be multiplied.
If a law were made that if persons are guilty of incest like
father daughter sex relationship, they would be given life
imprisonment without the possibility of parole or would be given
capital punishment, then out of fear no one would want to get involved
in this type of sexual immorality.
Just
imagine if a father has sex with his own daughter and a baby is born.
The child will have confusion because he can call his father as
father or grandfather. This
will also cause a lot of confusion in the society apart from in the
family. The forced
victims of incest relationships must not keep quiet, but should report
to the police. Suppose
they do not report incest relationships, the guilty ones will become
bolder and will continue to do it.
Mothers should enquire, when suspicious, if the fathers are
molesting the children and these offensive fathers should be taken to
task, because if they remain unchecked, inevitably they will graduate
from molestation to sexual intercourse.
These episodes, therefore, should not be kept latent rather
they are to be manifested. Children should report about child
molestation or child abuse. The victims identities should be kept
secret and their pictures not publicized in the newspapers or be shown
on T.V.

Lesbianism
means the attraction of a female to another female.
The word lesbianism comes from the word Lesbos, which is the
name of an island that a Greek poet Sappho described as an island for
women in love. Lesbianism
is a problem because sex between women cant produce children and God
did not create a woman to be sexually attracted to a woman. In the eyes of God it is
a sin and the Bible also calls it an abomination. In Romans 1:26 it
states For this cause God gave
them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the
natural use into that which is against nature. Bible condemns
lesbianism because it is against nature.

can choose to do what ever they want because God gave them the choice.

their sexual preferences. But suppose lesbianism was natural, human
beings would have become extinct, because two women cannot produce

experiences or bitter heterosexual episodes in the past. Genetic cause
is not involved in lesbianism as lesbians do not produce children.
Lesbians when they use vibrators, they can keep the vibrator in the
other woman's vagina for a long time, where as a man cannot keep his
erect penis inside a vagina for such a long time. These women prefer
being lesbians because of sexual gratification. This, however, leads
nowhere; because neither the vibrator contains semen nor does it have
sperms to bring about conception. Hence, these women may be advised to
undergo psychotherapy and slowly be detrained to be natural women.

In
the eyes of God this is not correct because the Bible says a man shall
leave his parents and take a wife and the two shall become one flesh.
God created man and woman to become one flesh for two women cant
become one flesh. It is good for a woman to have sex with man and not
with woman. Let us do
what pleases God. Remember,
the human body is the temple of God, therefore let it be kept clean.
The lesbians must repent and pray and allow the Holy Spirit to control
their lives totally and when He does, they will become heterosexuals
without a shadow of a doubt.

Orgasmic
Difficulties
Orgasm
is the climax of sexual excitement. It is also muscular
contraction of the vagina or penis.
The female orgasmic difficulty is a persistent delay or absence
of normal excitement of sexual activity.
For a rare number of males, even after arousal, they are not
able to achieve the muscular contractions and the emission of
semen. About 10% of women will never attain orgasm regardless of any
type of stimulation or treatment.
Only about 50% of women can actually attain orgasm during
sexual intercourse.29 When
women do not achieve orgasm during sexual intercourse, it could be
very frustrating and distressing.
The causes of female orgasmic difficulties are:
1.
Ignorance of genital functions especially clitoral function and
to compound this problem is anxiety.
Anxiety and ignorance go together hand in hand and complement
each other.
2.
Fear, guilt and anger.
3.
Inadequate foreplay or premature emission by the male sexual
partner.
4.
Some drugs (anti-histamines and sedatives) can depress the
female sexual desire.
5.
Depression and stress.
For men the causes are mainly fear, guilt, and anxiety.
Anti-hypertension drugs and anti-depressant drugs and organic problems
with the male reproductive organs could also contribute.
Since
failure to achieve an orgasm is both frustrating and very distressing,
the affected persons should seek help.
Management
The
causes should be addressed and treated.
Ignorance of vaginal and clitoral functions must be removed by
the sex therapist while talking to the women. She should know which is
the sensitive part of her sexual anatomy and also how to stimulate it.
The subcoccygeus muscle should be contracted 30 times a day and
if pre-vaginal muscle improves then she can, in a way, achieve orgasm.
A sizeable chunk of women achieve orgasm through stimulation clitoris. The sexual male partner should also be taught how to
stimulate the clitoris of the female in such a manner to have her
attain orgasm. The
psychological causes like fear and guilt should be eradiated from the
womans mind through psychotherapy.
The best method for a woman to achieve orgasm through sex is
the male partner should enter her vagina from the rear position.
When his penis is inside the vagina, with his finger he should
stimulate the woman's clitoris and he should delay the emission of semen as
long as possible so that the woman can achieve orgasm.
Prior to the penetration he should have a long foreplay of the
woman's genitals so that she would have already reached the excitement
phase.
In
men, the psychological causes like fear, anxiety and depression should
be removed to achieve orgasm. Drugs
like anti-hypertensives and anti-depressants are not to be taken for a
while, if the doctor advises so. For a physical damage to male
reproductive system, it can be repaired surgically.

Pedophilia
is using a child to achieve arousal or sexual gratification by an
adult. The contact is
usually oral, but sometimes it even leads to sexual intercourse.
Adults of both sexes can be aroused in this manner. Male
pedophiles are usually passive in nature and may suffer from erectile
problem. Most of the
offenders keep this problem highly secretive.
One
of the causes for the pedophiles to increase in number is naked child
photos through the Internet.
There are pedophiles, who use the Internet to communicate and
they send these pictures of children across the web to each
other.

Psychotherapy
is to be given to pedophiles to kick this filthy habit. Usually, the
pedophiles have some sort of sexual dysfunctions.
Some of the male pedophiles have erectile problems so they want
to experiment on the children. After finding out the cause why they do
it, the psychiatrist should detrain them. The offenders should be
severely punished. The families of pedophiles should also encourage
the pedophiles to give up this behavior.

Prostitution
is an ancient problem. Every
since ancient times, it had always been growing from strength to
strength. Prostitution could lead to family break up, sexually
transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, HIV
infection and AIDS. Children and teenagers can be morally corrupted
because of prostitution. Prostitution
can be a black mark on the society.

The
government must help rehabilitate prostitutes.
Many women take up this profession because they are poor or
want to make easy money. The
government should come up with alternative programs so they can earn
money doing something better. In
the Middle Eastern nations prostitution is completely banned. If a
rule such as this were followed worldwide, it would assist to
eradicate prostitution. In
Western nations, in the name of freedom of speech and expression any
damn thing is done. Prostitutes are not called prostitutes but sexual
commercial workers. They
are, in fact, encouraged by the facilities, which are given to them,
but this will not solve the prostitution problem.
Undoubtedly, if females from childhood are taught to honor
their bodies for the glory of God and continuously grow in a spiritual
environment, they will not become prostitutes.
When Bible and prayers are brought back into public schools and
they are taught that prostitution is sin, and then the females can
make a decision not to become prostitutes, come what may.

therapists inform that there should be prostitution, so much so, for
men to gratify themselves. However,
I am not of that opinion because the Bible condemns prostitution.
The Bible states in Proverb 9:18, But
he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the
depths of hell. The
text is talking about a prostitute who is trying to lure clients and
the clients dont know that they are going to the depths of hell.
The Bible expresses again in Proverb 5:3-5, For
the lips of a strange woman drops as an honeycomb, and her mouth is
smoother than oil; but her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two
edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. It
leads to sexually transmitted diseases, irrespective of using a
condom, as it is not full proof against sexually transmitted diseases.
Prostitution abets to spread gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes and
AIDS. When men visit prostitutes, they can also transfer diseases to
their partners at home. A man cannot be one flesh with a prostitute.
Prostitution is sin. Prostitutes (female and male) ought to
repent and Lord Jesus can produce metamorphosis in their lives
provided they submit their lives completely to Him.

Transvestism
is a condition in which a person wears the clothes of the opposite sex
and also might play the role of the opposite sex to attain sexual
gratification. The cause
is due to similar experience during childhood.
When children were very small, for instance, if they were
dressed like the opposite sex, they may develop interest in
transvestism and eventually become transsexuals.

Parents
ought to dress their children appropriately. Just because they have
more female clothes does not mean they can use on their male children.
Parents are to train that girls should behave like girls and boys like
boys. If children pray
and read the Bible, God will help them to be normal children and

and they must pray to God to overcome their problems. They must not
graduate into transsexuals.

Vaginismus
is a condition where there would be painful involuntary contraction or
spasm of the vaginal muscle because of touch or penetration of the
penis. Vaginismus can

The possible causes of vaginismus could be past traumatic
experiences like rape, incest, male sexual partners who dont care,
fear of pregnancy, and religious prohibition.
Management
The
patients are to be given psychotherapy to find out what exactly is
causing it. Next the cause (like fear or anxiety) has to be removed.
There can be gradual dilation of the vagina with lubrication. After
lubricating the vagina, the womans fingers or dilators can be used to
slowly dilate the vagina without it going into spasms.
The woman could do relaxing techniques.
The relaxation techniques can be done by using dilators. As the woman gets used to
the penetration of her own fingers or dilators, she can be gradually
ready for penis penetration.

This
is a condition where a person tries to get sexual arousal by observing
the opposite sex undress or heterosexuals engaging in sexual activity. Voyeurists are also known as peeping toms. This habit
forms in childhood or in early teens and it would be carried on.
Peeping toms spend all their time and energy with this kind of
activity, and they have less time to concentrate on their study or
work.

solutions to this problem can begin at home and in school.
When females sit at home or in school, they are to be told to
sit properly. They should
not wear short skirts and spread open their legs because the boys will
drop a pencil or coin on the ground and while picking it up they will
try to see the panties of girls.
It happens in schools and public places.
The females must be taught to dress nicely and sit properly so
much so as not to invite this type of temptations to boys.
Where there are no elevators but only staircases, there should
be no gaps between the steps because teenagers stand under steps to
see under females skirts as they are walking up.
The boys must be properly educated at home in order to avoid
peeping under the clothes of the girls.
The persons who are engaged in voyeuristic activities are to
undergo psychotherapy. In case, they continue their activities
regardless of psychotherapy, they ought to face some kind of
punishment. If they are
punished properly, they will not want to do it again.
It goes without saying that when we train our children properly
with spiritual environment they will not become peeping toms in the
first place.

Zoophilia
is sexual relationship between human beings and animals. The animal
could be a dog, goat, pig and horse. Zoophilia can transmit
diseases called zoonoses, which can spread from animals to humans.
Morally speaking, this is not right and the Bible calls it a
sin. Leviticus 20:15
&16 state, And if a man lie
with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the
beast. And if a woman approach
unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and
the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be
upon them. Here you can see how God
condemns zoophilia. In
the eyes of God it is an alarming sin.

Since
God condemns zoophilia one must not involve in it.
It is sin. When
there are stringent laws prohibiting zoophilia, then out of fear
persons will not commit zoophilia.
In the Biblical times, since the rules were so strict, people
were afraid to commit zoophilia because they would be killed.
Because now there are no rules punishing the guilty ones of
zoophilia, some individuals are bold enough to do it. We, therefore,
need laws and the offenders should be severely punished.
This will deter them and others from committing the act. If
they dont repent, they will be damned in hell. They are to lead their
lives, which are controlled by the Holy Spirit so they will not suffer
from this evil problem.

Sleep--Excessive
Some
people sleep for a long time, that is, for 12 to 16 hours. They could
be suffering from hypersomnia (too much sleep). The causes of hypersomnia
could be depression, sometimes illnesses like influenza,
hyperglycemia, hypothyroidism, anemia, liver failure, multiple
sclerosis and epilepsy. Lesions in the brain and abuse of hypnotic
drugs can cause sleepiness. There
is another illness called narcolepsy. It is a syndrome where there is
sudden attack of sleep with loss of muscle tone (cataplexy). The
patients of narcolepsy fall asleep anytime.
The sleep episodes can vary from few to many in one single day
and each episode can last several minutes to many hours.
Treatment
People
who sleep for a very long time must seek medical help. Doctors would
treat according to the cause. The doctors usually prescribe stimulant
drugs to prevent sleepiness. Patients
who take these stimulants would be monitored for hypertension.
If the patient walks or does something that keeps them mobile,
it will help them not to feel sleepy.

Smoking
is harmful and incorrigible habit. It had, has and will enslave
millions of people all around the world. People smoke in spite of
knowing the evil effects of smoking. Satan must be puzzled and
overwhelmed because humans are easy prey and dead meat for his
temptations since humans know smoking is detrimental to health,
carcinogenic & fatal and yet they smoke.

Having decided
to quit smoking, those persons can use nicotine replacement therapy
like nicotine patch/gum as sheer willpower may not be sufficient. They
are advised to stick around with persons who don't smoke & who
support them morally when stressed. If they hang around with smokers I
bet they will smoke again as they are like sitting ducks in front of
the hunter called 'Smoking Addiction'. Stress, nervousness and sadness
are to be avoided as much as possible to quit the smoking habit
especially in the beginning. Being occupied with positive stuff is an
asset to kick the smoking butt and fight withdrawal symptoms. They are
not to throw in the towel and be discouraged if they succumb to
temptation a few times. Defeating smoking habit by getting addicted to
a lesser harmful addiction is another solution but it is up to one's
discretion. Nonetheless, without a shadow of doubt, prevention is
better than cure in case of smoking. It is cumbersome and arduous to
kick the filthy habit of smoking. Children and teenagers should not be
permitted to smoke anywhere, let alone of buying cigarettes. The laws
to prevent children from smoking are toothless and impotent as one can
see children and teenagers under 18 smoking in many places. Potent
laws are to be enacted for everyone be it male or female of all ages
not to smoke.

is sin though the Bible explicitly does not state so because there was
no smoking in Biblical times. However, smoking defiles the temple of
God, which is human body. One of the Ten Commandments states that one
should not kill and it means not only to kill others but also to kill
oneself. Smoking is killing oneself slowly. If one wants to give up
smoking, the sure way is willpower, prayer and total surrender to the
control of the Holy Spirit.

Bites
Poisonous
snakes venom are predominantly either neurotoxic or cardiotoxic.
The snakes that are neurotoxic are coral snakes and the snakes
that are cardiotoxic are the rattlesnakes and other pit vipers.
Neurotoxins induce respiratory failure, and cardiotoxins
produce destruction of tissue by digestion and hemorrhage. The symptoms of
snakebite, for example, a rattlesnake, would be pain and swelling, and
there would also be nausea, vomiting and hypertension.
Usually the symptoms of the bite from the coral snake would be
respiratory difficulty and drool.
If the patient is not taken to hospital immediately, the
patient will die.
Management
If
you find someone who has been bitten by a venomous snake, first of
all, you have to tie (not very tight) a tourniquet above the wound so
that the blood does not flow freely towards the heart. Cut the wound a little
wider if you have a knife or blade.
If your mouth has no cuts suck out the blood from the wound and
spit it out. One should not apply ice to the wound. Try to identify
what venomous snake bit the patient. You are to immobilize the patient
and keep him in a horizontal position and take him to the nearest
hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
In the hospital the medical staff will ask you what snake
species bit the person because there are specific antidotes for
various poisonous snakebites. Antidote can be given to save the
victims life if it is not too late.

is a sound produced when breathing is partially obstructed during
sleeping. It is more
common in obese people. Snoring
could be worse off because of alcoholic drinks, tranquilizers and
sleep inducing drugs.
Management
Big
snorers should not take alcohol, tranquilizers, and sleeping pills
before sleeping. It is
prudent to sleep on one side. Raising the head of the bed might be
helpful and using big pillows, which are soft, could be an asset. For
some persons, who irrespective of these measures still snore, might
have nasal infections and allergies, which should be treated.
If there are no nasal infections or allergies and there is
persistent heavy snoring then the only other alternative measure is
surgery to correct obstructions in nose or pharynx.

Somnambulism
is sleepwalking. Individuals
who suffer from sleepwalking will do activity like walking or doing
some work, but later cannot remember doing it. The etiology is
obscure. It can affect children and also some adults. Some people conjecture
that it is a feature of demon possession.
Some persons because of the drug addition to alcohol or
marijuana can also suffer from sleepwalking.
Management
Affected
individuals are to visit a medical doctor. Usually diazepam is
prescribed, since it will suppress the problem of sleepwalking. The
relatives of these patients must keep close watch on them and lock the
doors in such a manner that they cant go out.
Safety measures are to be maintained to keep the sleepwalker
out of trouble.

Spiritualism
is the belief that the spirits or souls of the dead can communicate
with the living. It is
usually done through a medium. This
is a problem because the dead are not talking but the devil is. The
devil appears exactly like a dead person but relatives believe that
the dead person is communicating with them. They do not realize that
it is devil that does it. God
does not like spiritualism and He condemns it.
Spiritual
Solutions
The
solutions are Biblical. The
witches, wizards, enchanters and the consulters with the spirits were
condemned in the Holy Bible. Deuteronomy 18: 10-12 warns, There
shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or useth divination, or an observer
of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter
with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do
these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these
abominations the Lord God doeth drive them out from before thee. God
does not like the practice of witchcraft.
God calls spiritualism an abomination.
My advice is to always obey the Lords commands. If people dont
go to enchanters, then they become jobless and they will have to find
something else to do. However,
we are living in the last days, and spiritualism will increase and
more people will go to the spiritualists. Therefore, some of us have
to be on guard so that we dont fall into the trap of spiritualists. A
dead person doesnt talk but the devil just as the devil and not Samuel
communicated to king Saul in the Old Testament times.
In
the last days, Satan uses spiritualism to mix truth and error and
bring false teachings and confuse both the Christians and
non-Christians. Satan can
make some people sick and he can remove sicknesses from them and those
are seen as miracles. Devils
are evil spirits that can cheat people.
These spirits are unclean.
The Bible states in Revelation 16:13 & 14, And
I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the
dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the
false prophets. For they
are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the
kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle
of the great day of God Almighty. Here, you see the unclean
spirits are like frogs and can do miracles and they can deceive so let
us not use spiritualism. Evil spirits can accurately speak about the
past events but they can only conjecture about the future events and
try to bring them to pass. Without a question only Lord Jesus knows
about the future. Let us obey God and have nothing to do with
spiritualism.

It is a condition where an eye or eyes are crossed and are not
properly placed anatomically in the eye sockets.
Squint is known as strabismus.
If the cornea of the eye is located towards the nose, it is
known as convergent strabismus and if it is towards the lateral side,
as divergent strabismus.
Management
The child should be taken to an ophthalmologist who can assess
the squint. The doctor
can teach eye exercises or he can surgically repair the condition. The
parents and the affected child are not to be disheartened and
depressed since squint can be corrected. The affected individual could
also mask the squint by wearing sunglasses. People must not tease
persons suffering from squint.

Steroid
is one of the groups of hormones that are chemically related to
cholesterol. The
examples of steroids are estrogen, testosterone and corticosteroids.
These steroids could be used to heal certain diseases.
The most abused steroids are anabolic steroids.
Anabolic steroids are those steroids that function like
testosterone, which produces an increase in endurance, strength,
muscle growth and aggressiveness.
There could be serious complications of anabolic steroids
abuse. It is life
threatening, as it could cause cancer of the liver. It could lead to
aggressiveness, hypertension and also death. There could be facial and
body hair growth, and it is a risk for prostate cancer in men.
The adverse effects in women are alopecia, which is hair loss,
deepening of the voice, acne, breast cancer, and decrease in breast
size. It could lead to
enlarged clitoris, and also there could be menstrual irregularities
like secondary amenorrhea. The
adverse effects for men could be sterility, testicular atrophy, and it
could lead to impotence because of the biofeedback mechanism of
testosterone production.

Solutions
The
children from lower grades onward should be advised not to abuse any
drug. As they keep going
up the academic ladder they must be taught the effects of the
steroids. The coaches of
games like basketball, football, and track and field should advise the
team members not to take steroids. Sport authorities should take
stringent actions against the anabolic steroids abusers.
The International Olympic Committee is doing a good job by
testing the athletes for illegal use and also taking stringent
actions. But other sport
organizations must also take stringent actions to punish abusers.

Stings
The
insects that usually sting are honeybees, bumble bees, wasps, hornets
and scorpions. Most of us
can bear the agony of some stings, but children cannot bear as much as
the adults. However, if a
person is hypersensitive to a sting, even one sting can cause an
anaphylactic shock and can kill that person.
Management
All
of us should keep our houses and surroundings free of insects and
scorpions. It is easier
said than done but if we try all means to keep houses free of any type
of insects then our surroundings will be free of them.
Pesticides can be used to kill some of these insects that bite
but we have to be careful because the pesticides are also poisonous if
ingested or inhaled. Whenever
a person gets stung, immediately, he should try to remove the sting. If the sting is inside
the skin, then ice cubes can used to relieve pain and aspirin can be
taken. Individuals with
known hypersensitivity to stings should always have a kit containing
epinephrine with a pre-filled syringe. They should have this kit
especially if they are living in areas where insects are copious.
Anti-histamines could be taken to suppress hives.
In case of stings, prevention is better than cure.

people problem is prevalent in almost every city in the world. Many
people become street people because they are abandoned, they suffer
from mental diseases, they have become extremely poor and nobody wants
to take care of them. Because
of the people living on the street, there are a lot of problems. It is a
problem for street people to find food, clothes and shelter. They
might be suffering from various diseases. It is a problem for tourism
because it is not an aesthetic sight for tourists to see street people
in the cities. We have to
see what can be done to mitigate the street people problem and
alleviate the problems of the street people.

First
of all, the government should do everything to help the street people.
It should leave no stone unturned to rectify the dilemma.
The government should have shelters for these street people.
The biggest problem of the street people is that they do not
like to be settled. They
do not like to be in one place. They
want to move from place to place, as many of them suffer from mental
disorders. All the
shelters ought to have visiting psychiatrists who can evaluate the
street people and ascertain if they need to be hospitalized in
psychiatric hospitals. If
the street people are treated for their mental diseases they may
become normal and settle in one place.
The mental patients have to be constantly monitored even after
treatment, in order to void relapse.
The
members of the society have to be taught not to abandon their
relatives if they become mentally sick or poor. The relatives should help
each other. The students in schools,
colleges and universities and unemployed persons must be taught that
no matter what happens they are not to throw in the towel. Rather they
are to fight and struggle in life to make it.
People who become alcoholics and drug addicts may eventually
land themselves on the street. Therefore, alcoholism and
drug addiction should be precluded.
The street people should be shown the love of Lord Jesus.
How can we show the love of Lord Jesus?
We can show the love of Lord Jesus by giving them food and
clothes.
There
are a lot of street children. These
children are to be given food, clothes and shelter. They must be put
in schools where they can study and learn to become somebody in life
by earning a degree and getting some work.
We, who are normal people, should attempt as much as possible
to help street people and not speculate that someone else will do it.
The Bible expresses in Mathew 25:40, And
the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done to unto one of the least of these My
brethren, ye have done it unto Me. The
text tells that for the people who have no shelter, food or
clothes and those who are imprisoned, if we helped them in whatever
capacity, we have indeed served the Lord.
Many people have great plans and ideas to help the street
people but they will not put them into action.
It is better not to have a great idea in mind but rather do
something small for the street people. The churches and charitable
organizations should come up with some funds to rehabilitate the
street people, not on short-term basis but on long term, in order to
achieve major results. I
have been feeding the street people and giving them clothes once in a
while for many years but I know it is not significant. God bless the
individuals that help the street people.

is the pressure of any factor, whether mental, social or physical,
which can adversely affect the function of the body.
Every person in this world has some kind of stress or the
other. When anyone says
he/she does not have any stress at all in life, then he/she is lying.
Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden till
today, stress reigns. Stress
is a very subjective matter. What
might be stress for one person might not be stress for the other.
What
are stressors? Stressors are events, situations and conditions that
produce stress. Stressors
are the causes and stress is the end result.
The stressors could be physical stressors like disease, cancer
or injury; socio-economic stressors such as romantic problems, class
or caste divisions, divorce, death of a loved one, financial loss, and
unemployment; and psychological stressors like fear, anxiety and
depression. All these
stressors are negative stressors. There can be positive stressors,
which can cause happiness, that is, like finding a job after searching
for a long time, passing the examination with high grades, and winning
an award. All these are
good stressors. When
people cannot control or manage stress, it can lead to health problems
and diseases, such as ulcer, hypertension, migraine, asthma,
allergies, insomnia, impotence, vagnismus, and menstrual
irregularities. One can
face stress in home, school, work situations, and anywhere and
everywhere.
Management
The
management deals with avoiding or coping with the negative stressors.
Some recommendations to manage and cope up with stress are as follows:
1.
Spiritual Management:
When people depend on God, He is going to take care of everything.
Mathew 6:33 states, Seek
ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things will be added unto you. If
you seek God, He is going to give you good health, financial support,
and will give succor to cope with socio-economic stressors or anything
that comes your way. Go to Lord Jesus for not only will He give you a
break from your stress but a royal ride of comfort. He states in
Mathew 11:28, Come unto Me, all
that have labored and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest. So
no matter what your stress is if you go to Him, He will give you rest.
Your lifestyle must be one in which you submit your will to the Lord
and you will avoid or cope with stress. Psalms 55:22 expresses, Cast
your burdens upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee. He shall never
suffer the righteous to be moved. Therefore,
when you are stressed out no matter what is the cause of the stress,
you should cast everything on Him, and He will help you. You need to
read the Bible and pray and obey the commandments of the Lord to avoid
or cope with stress. Psalms
19:8 states, The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart: The
commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Relaxation Techniques:
A person, who is stressed, must breathe slowly and hold the
breath. Occasionally, breathing in a bag for hyperventilation, can aid
to cope with stress. Do exercise and play games. Jogging and walking
will help. Keep occupied. Listen to soothing music especially slow
gospel music. Go for picnics and go on tours if possible.
3.
Social Management:
When a job is overwhelmingly stressing, it is better for the
person to take up another job for health is of paramount importance.
If people find a situation where they cannot deal with the stress,
they are to use their discretion and cope up or avoid the situation.
Sometimes, it is hard to make big changes but if they can, it
is fine. Friends and relatives are to pitch in and assist the affected
ones. If children are
stressed at home, the parents should help the children to adjust and
mitigate the stress. If
the stress is a marital problem, then the assistance of a marriage
counselor should be sought.
4.
Psychological Management:
The seriously stressed person should see a counselor, who should try
to find out what is the cause for the stress. He can aid the affected
person to adjust with stress. There should be individual counseling if
is helpful otherwise there should be group counseling.
5.
Medical Management:
When people are still stressed after trying other techniques, then the
person should see a medical doctor and get some medical help.
Sedatives are usually prescribed for a given period of time. One cant
take sedatives all the time. If
one takes sedatives all the time the problem becomes chronic, and that
person can become addictive to these drugs.

Suicide
Suicide
is the act of taking of ones life.
This is a serious problem, isnt it? When individuals take their
own lives, it is not only a problem for the family members but also
for the society. It is
also a problem because only God has the authority to take life. Exodus
28:13 says, Thou shalt not kill.
It means not only
killing others but also taking ones life. There are more suicides in
urban areas than in rural areas.
Suicide accounts for 10% of deaths and about 30% of suicide
deaths are committed by college students in the US.30
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among the
teenagers.
What
are the causes of suicide? Some
of the causes are romantic failure, loneliness, guilt, severe pain and
unemployment. When persons are sad and depressed for various reasons,
they are prone to suicide. Schizophrenics
and other mentally disordered persons can commit suicide.
Some patients with epilepsy are prone for suicide. Some commit
suicide because they believe in nihilism (belief that life is useless)
and a few terrorists commit suicide as suicide bombers for political
and religious purposes. The
methods of suicide vary. Some
people commit suicide by hanging, some jump from high buildings, and
others take overdose of drugs.
Spiritual
Solutions
No
problem exists in world that justifies suicide because every problem
can be resolved these days. A problem that has no solution is not a
problem in the first place. Children must be inculcated that nobody
has the right to take his own life. They should be taught the
importance of life and negative repercussions of suicide. There should
be Bible reading and prayer and following of Lord Jesus commandments
throughout their lives to avoid suicide.
The causes of suicide should be avoided or removed. In case a
lover has been ditched, that is no reason for him to commit suicide
because he can find someone else. When bad things happen to us and we
think there is no light at the end of the tunnel, we are to look to
Lord Jesus. Drug and
alcohol drug addiction can lead persons to suicide so people should be
taught from childhood not to indulge in them.
Persons, who suffer from schizophrenia and epilepsy, should be
treated medically. Persons who are suicidal should attend social
support groups or seek assistance from suicide help line
organizations.
A
person may call up someone and say, I have ingested some poison and am
dying. The receiver of the call must find out immediately where the
person is at that moment and call the emergency number so that
paramedics can be sent immediately to resuscitate the victim. Persons,
who have attempted to commit suicide in the past, will try again.
Therefore, psychotherapy should be given and that person be prayed for
that he will not commit suicide again.
The person should pray for himself also.
Anyone
who threatens to commit suicide must be taken seriously.
Of course, some individuals, to blackmail others to get
benefits like money or love, will threaten that they are going to
commit suicide. This gimmick should be discouraged. By the way, you
will hear on the news once in a while, that someone is on a high rise
building threatening to commit suicide. Police should take action to
prevent those episodes.

Superstition
is a belief or practice resulting from ignorance and fear or trust in
magic. It is also a false
conception. There is superstition that if a black cat crosses the road
in front of a person, he/she should not travel on that road.
There are many superstitions regarding the full moon and the
new moon. There is
superstition that when you are sneezing, the devil is at the back
tickling you. Unlucky
events and number are discussed elsewhere in this book.
Spiritual
Solutions
When
you trust completely Lord Jesus, you will not believe in
superstitions. Praying
and following the Bible will dispel superstitions. Children should be
taught from childhood, what are superstitions and what are facts.
Good education can open the eyes of all who believe in
superstitions. Some unscrupulous healers use lot of tricks and gimmick
surgeries. Only God can
heal the sick. But if a
person is using superstitions and conducting surgeries without cutting
the body and showing blood and removing some fake cancerous tissue, it

Survival
Problems
Situations
arise unannounced where you need to do something to survive. For
example, as you are driving a car on a bridge, suddenly you lose
control and break the railings and it falls into the water; or as you
are walking on ice and the ice caves in and you fall into the icy cold
water, then you are facing survival problems and you need to do
something in order to survive. All
these call for education and mental and physical preparations to
survive.
Management
The
solutions lie in learning about survival techniques when you are not
in trouble. If you are
caught in quicksand, you should know that you must not struggle, since
the more you struggle the deeper you go in.
If the car you are in goes over a bridge and hits the water,
then if you can jump out, it is fine, otherwise you should always have
a small screwdriver to break the glass and come out.
Do not sit and allow the car to sink to the bottom of the
river. There will not be enough
oxygen for you to survive if you do not get out fast. It is unwise to
travel, take trips, or go on excursions, alone, but it is prudent to
take someone along with you. If someone falls through ice into icy
water, do not go near the victim because you too can fall in. Instead,
throw a stick or a rope from a distance and pull the person to safety.
If you are trapped inside a building caught on fire, crawl on
your knees because the smoke usually goes up and the air below will
contain a little amount of oxygen.
In
all cases of survival problems, pray to Lord Jesus as He can save you,
if it is His will. Incidentally, if He saves you, thank and glorify
Him by obeying His commandments and witnessing for Him.

Ugliness
Ugliness
means offensive to sight or unpleasing to the senses.
Ugliness is highly subjective. Some people look at other person
and say Well, this person is ugly! or That persons face is not
beautiful! Making ugly
remarks about somebody elses physical condition is nasty. It is not
pleasant on the part of a person to call somebody ugly.
This is not in the right spirit.
If girl thinks of herself as being ugly, then it is a problem
and something has to be done about it.

Solutions
Do
not call anybody ugly. If
a girl or woman thinks to be ugly, then the she should visit a
psychologist to see if something should be done about it. Remember,
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
There are some situations, which warrant cosmetic surgery like
cleft palate and hare up. If the nose is extremely long rhinoplastic
surgery can be performed to fix the nose.
Before persons undergo plastic surgery they must seek to find
out the pros and cons of such surgery and the cost before making the
decision. Pray to God and ask Him to help you accept yourself the way
He made you, if not, undergo cosmetic surgery.

Underweight
How
does one know if he/she is underweight?
For an adult female, if her BMI is below 19 then she is
underweight and for an adult male if his BMI is below 20 then he is
underweight. BMI is Body
Mass Index and its formula is weight in kilograms divided by height in
meters raised to the power of two. Persons can become underweight if
their total calorie intake is far less than their energy expenditure.
Certain diseases and poverty can lead a person to be underweight.
Persons who are underweight have very poor immune system and are
vulnerable to various diseases. They will suffer from fatigue.
Management
Calculate
your BMI. If you are underweight, then certain measures should be
taken to increase your weight. You are to increase you calorie intake
more than your energy expenditure. If you are suffering from any
disease you have to get it treated by a doctor. Suppose you are poor
financially then you have to do something better to boost your
purchasing power. If you do not suffer from any disease you can eat
foods that are rich in fat. When you eat fried foods you will put on
weight. But dont eat too
much at one time because it can cause constipation and dyspepsia.
It
is good for you to do light exercise as it can increase your appetite.
Dont vigorously exercise or else you will be burning more calories.
The bottom line is to increase your dietary intake and decrease your
burning of calories. Good and adequate sleep is necessary. The more
the sleep the less the burning of calories. Pray to God to help you

Unemployment
Unemployment
is a condition where a person is not getting a job in spite of looking
for one. The unemployment situation differs from country to country.
Some persons are unemployed because they were not properly
trained and do not have educational qualifications. Others do not have
the necessary experience. In some countries people are unemployed
because they cannot afford to bribe, or do not have political
connections. There is a limited number of available jobs in many
places. Unemployment
could lead to crime, violence, unhappiness and a lot of other
problems.

I am recommending some solutions.
1.
The major solution lies with the government.
The government should leave no stone unturned to eradicate
unemployment. It ought to create more jobs in various sectors.
2.
All the people looking for jobs must be qualified. They must
possess degrees and good training in the concerned fields.
3.
They should have necessary experience. They are to work
voluntarily to gain experience if they are not hired. The more
experience, the better.
4.
Search thoroughly on the Internet, in the newspapers,
employment news etc., for job advertisements. Search offline and
online. It is wise to put your resume on the Internet through some
resume website agencies so that employers can see it and call you for
interview if they think you are fit.
Get ready for interviews and do well in the interview without
any nervousness.

Ungratefulness
Ungratefulness
is being unthankful or thankless.
It is also a condition where a person shows no gratitude.
This is an obnoxious problem because ungratefulness is a son of
pride. If a person were proud,
he would be ungrateful to others.
When one does not show appreciation, the person rendering the
help might feel discouraged from ever helping him again.

Solutions
The
person who is ungrateful should realize that he is so. If he does not
realize this problem on his own, someone close to him should tell him.
Once this is brought to his notice he should rectify the
problem. Some individuals do not want to thank persons who are working
under them. Where there are class or caste problems, the persons of a
higher class or caste do not want to show gratitude to persons of a
lower class or caste. This attitude stinks. We have to thank each
other. Thanksgiving is an unassuming son of politeness whereas
arrogance begets an imperious son called ingratitude.
Spiritual
Solutions
Above
all we should thank God. It
is God who created us, He sent His Son Jesus to Calvary to shed His
precious blood to save us. Therefore,
we need to thank God for all that He has done. The Bible advises in
Psalm 118:1, O let us give thanks unto the Lord
for He is good. His mercy
endureth forever. God
is so good that his mercies are forever so we should thank Him always.
We
ought to tell others about what God had done for us.
In Psalms 105:1 it states, O
give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known his deeds
among His people. We should make known His wonderful works by
witnessing about Him to others. Psalms 150:1 declares, Let
everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. God
have given us food to eat and air to breathe. We must all praise God
and be grateful to Him for everything.

Unkempt
Appearance
To
be unkempt is to be deficient in neatness or in the appearance.
When people do not appear well, and are not groomed properly,
it could lead to problems for that person.
That person might not get a good job, or may not easily be
allowed into social groups. This could be distressing.

Solutions
The
unkempt person should be aware that he is not neat.
He/she must dress up nicely, comb his/her hair properly and
wear cologne/perfume. In order to get rid of smell from perspiration,
he/she should bathe daily and use deodorants. Good oral hygiene must
be followed to avoid halitosis.

Unlucky
Events and Numbers
Unlucky
event is a condition marked by failure or adversity. It is an action,
which is unfortunate. There
are many people who belief in unlucky events and inauspicious times.
They can be a problem that can handicap many things, which could have
been done. It is said
that thirteen is unlucky. Many people believe in unlucky events.
It is a matter of concern.
It could lead to stress and anxiety to the persons who believe
in unlucky events and numbers. See the topic Superstitions also.
Spiritual
Solutions
The
first solution is to impart education to dispel their beliefs in
unlucky events. If people are taught from childhood not to believe in
unlucky events and numbers, then they cope up pretty well. The most important thing
is when you must believe in Jesus as God and pray to Him, you will not
believe in unlucky things. God
knows everything. Romans 8:28 states, And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to His purpose. Now, we see
if we believe in God, everything will work for our own good. There are
nothing like unlucky events, numbers or lucky charms, since everything
will happen according to the will of God or shall be permitted by Him.
I
know there are times when people die in a car or plane crash and the
relatives will think that the day of crash was an unlucky day or it
was unlucky trip. Because
of sin some sad events do happen. Satan is often trying to kill people
and bring disasters into the world and blame God.
You might well ask me, Why is God allowing these things to
happen? For this question there
is no real answer except for sin.
Remember, death is sure and life is uncertain. We just have to
prepare so that when our time comes, we will be ready.

Unpopularity
Unpopularity
is a condition where the public is unfavorable to a person or the
public detests a person. There
are many reasons why persons can be unpopular.
Individuals can be unpopular if they are too proud and
incommunicable and when they think there is no end for themselves.
Sometimes a teacher will be unpopular when she is too hard on the
students, gives too many assignments and dishes out very poor grades.
The manager of a company can be unpopular if he is unkind,
inconsiderate and always finding fault and reprimanding. There must be
some ways to get out of unpopularity.

Solutions
A
person should find out why he or she is unpopular. If he/she is unable
to find out why, the person should ask someone why he/she is not
popular. Usually others will tell what the problem is.
The person should try to remove the reason for unpopularity.
He/she probably needs to be compassionate, humble, communicate well,
and learn to listen.
Do
not be like the politicians who tell lies and make false promises to
be popular and then after wining an election they forget all the
promises because none of the promises were sincere anyway. Always remember not to
compromise principles in order to be popular. A politician should not
support the evil things such as prostitution and homosexuality in
order to be popular. You should not be popular for the sake of being
popular; you should be popular because you are doing something better
for the people. My advice
is it is better not to be popular than to compromise the principles of
life.

Untouchability
Untouchability
is found in a few villages in India.
Persons in the high caste dont want to do anything with any
body from the low caste where untouchability exists.
In the urban areas of India, there is no presence of
untouchability, as the government of India worked hard to eradicate it
but in some remote rural areas untouchability still prevails. In
places, where untouchability exists, low caste people cannot eat in
the same restaurant and cannot draw water from the same well used by
high caste people.

Children
must be taught in the schools that nobody is an untouchable.
God created everybody equal and there actually should be no
caste or class division. We should show love to one another. We are to
share the same world. The high class people are not to look down on
the low class people. The
Bible confirms that God hates a proud look.
So we should not have proud look and we should eradicate
untouchability. Apartheid
was abolished some time ago, but in some remote pockets of India,
untouchability still exists. We
should all work together to remove this untouchability by showing
love.

Urticaria
Urticaria
is an acute or chronic skin condition where there is appearance of
wheals. It causes great itching and irritation. It is also called
hives (see Appendix 1). The causes of urticaria might be allergy to
certain foods, infections, drugs and even emotional stress. There could be pain and
burning sensation of the skin. Some
patients have sensitive skin where if some pressure is applied to the
skin and is then released, some hives will form there and later will
disappear. It is called
contact urticaria.
Treatment
Patients
suffering from urticaria are to visit a dermatologist.
Usually the line of treatment is topical corticosteroids. In
case of acute urticaria, doctors would treat with systemic topical
corticosteroids. When a patient knows the foods or drugs that are
causing urticaria, he should avoid those foods or drugs.
